A little bit about me

I am a BSc Zoology undergraduate student at University of Exeter, currently doing my placement under Dr. Neeltje Boogert. When I became a part of the project, I wasn’t that aware about the issues the herring gull population was facing. I was primarily interested in the way they had integrated themselves into the anthropogenic landscape. Their ability to observe and utilise information from the urban areas to secure food was something extraordinary to me. After learning more about their situation, I am even more interested in studying human-gull interactions. Thus, my current focus of research is gaze sensitivity and its effect on herring gull behaviour. More generally, I am passionate about studying bird behaviour and cognition.
